- Piano tuning is done based on the time of year, the conditions at the location of the piano, and with understanding of how
the piano will be used by the musician. Piano tuning is performed with the
use of the Reyburn Cyber-Tuner, a marvelous computer program that
will give the piano tuner the ability to tune the piano to exact specifications.
It is extremely helpful for pitch-raising and pitch-lowering, (when the
piano is not near the standard pitch of A440). As a courtesy to the
customer, the piano tuning schedule is also programmed to be tuned at a 6 month
interval, UNLESS otherwise requested OR agreed per contract.

Piano repairs is quite a broad statement for piano
servicing, but to be more definitive, here is a partial listing of services
offered:
Action regulation, action overhauls, hammers filed or replaced, keys cleaned,
key tops replaced, sticky actions serviced, key bushings eased and/or replaced, inside of
piano cleaned, replace strings, etc. For WHATEVER service you need,
please ask. If the repair is not within the scope of our ability, we
have many associates who can handle your request.

- Dampp-Chaser Humidity Control Systems (HCS)

Installation and service is at the top of our list for these
magnificent systems that save the piano structure from warping, cracking,
swelling, rusting, AND as an added benefit, keeps the piano tuning more
stable. You will still need to get your piano tuned on a regular
basis, but the tunings will be much easier AND will stay better after the
tuner leaves. Another facet of this service is to help the
piano owner understand how to maintain the system, and what is
expected for warranty to be in effect. As part of the HCS service, the
pads are changed every 6 months, as required by Dampp-Chaser for warranty,
and at the same visit, the piano tuning is also completed. This makes
it simple for all concerned: tune and service HCS at the same time, and you
will avoid 99.9% of the problems that can cause major damage to your
instrument.

Servicing and Installation of computer player
systems

RGPT is factory trained and certified by PianoDisc for
installation and servicing all of the PianoDisc systems. In
addition, a good relationship exists with the PianoDisc company, which helps
in maintaining the correct knowledge of how to solve any problems that exist
in a customer's computer player
RGPT is also factory trained and certified for servicing
the Yamaha Disklavier computer player systems, and also has a strong
relation with the head service educators and technical advisors at the
Yamaha facility in California.
RGPT is factory trained and certified for
installation and servicing Pianomation computer
players. Customers now get a 5 year parts warranty from the manufacturer and
a 1 year full labor warranty from RGPT. We also offer service contract for
the maintenance of your systems that have been installed by us, AND for
those systems not installed by RGPT, we offer contract subject to inspection
of system.

purposes, with professional, well presented appraisal.
RGPT can also help you acquire a QUALITY used piano, and with that
piano, give you a 1 year warranty, first tuning free, and other
miscellaneous items required to further the enjoyment of your piano; i.e..,
lamps, benches, bench pads or cushions, music stands, music bags, and
novelty items.
